Alchemilla erythropoda (Dwarf Lady's Mantle): Compact form of familiar Lady's Mantle. Makes excellent ground cover in fairly sunny or semi-shaded spots. Hardy. Up to 20cm.

Sedum spathulifolium 'Purpureum' (Purple stonecrop): Mat forming, fleshy purple rosettes with an attractive grey cast when young. Yellow flowers in summer.

Sempervivum 'Dark Beauty' (House leek 'Dark Beauty'): An attractive variety with dark red almost purple rosettes. Evergreen succulent pointed leaves and short stems of pink star like flowers. Hardy.

Stachys byzantina 'Silver Carpet' (Lamb's ears 'Silver Carpet'): Silver, furry leaves form spreading mats. A few spikes of silver flowers with the faintest hint of pink in summer.
