Bluebell Cottage Gardens & Nursery

Tucked away down a quiet country lane, Bluebell Cottage Gardens and Nursery is one of Cheshire's best kept secrets.

Owned and managed by former BBC Gardener of the Year, Sue Beesley, Bluebell Cottage Gardens, nursery, wildflower meadows and beautiful bluebell woods make a perfect half day out for keen gardeners, wildlife enthusiasts, or anyone in need of a break from the whirlwind of modern life.

21st March 2020

We have reluctantly taken the decision to close the nursery and gardens to drop-in visitors with immediate effect to protect our staff, our customers and to play our part in reducing the risks of spreading coronavirus. If you would like to collect plants, we offer click & collect and phone & collect service from the nursery gates. Our mail order service remains open as usual. We hope to be open soon and will let you know as soon as this is possible.

18th March 2020

At a time our gardens are more important than ever before for our mental and physical well being we have implemented a 'Click and Collect' option for our online shop. You have the option to browse, select and pay for your plants online, leave your details and collection time. We shall have all your plants ready for you to pick up. This also facilitates the recommended #socialdistancing with our team and our premises. Our plant nursery, as an outside area and lots of space will still open W-F, 10am-5pm. Gardens open in April but with ever changing circumstances please check our website and social media channels before travelling. Our teashop remains closed so please feel free to bring your own refreshments. Stay healthy everyone! https://www.bluebellcottage.co.uk/shop/

9th March 2020

Coronovirus notice: We have taken advice and the nursery is remaining open as normal through March - Wed/Thur/Fri 10am-5pm. However the tea room will remain closed for the time being. You are most welcome to bring your own refreshments. Hot water and soap are available in the toilet for handwashing. Our staff have been advised not to shake hands with visitors and we may be wearing latex gloves for handling money and the credit card machine. We feel this represents a sensible approach and look forward to seeing you soon. Sue
