Visiting the nursery and shop is free of charge, and advance booking is not required, but facemasks are required at all times in these areas. We strongly suggest placing a Click and Collect order before arrival, or review our stock online and bring a list of what you wish to purchase. Please note that not all of our stock is kept in the retail area of the nursery.
Entry to the gardens is strictly by pre-purchased ticket only
Our opening hours are Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm. Please note we are closed Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays.
Tickets for visiting the gardens are £5.00 per person with 20% of all ticket proceeds going to the National Garden Scheme charity. We accept the Gardener's World Two-for-One pass. Please buy one ticket online and show your pass on arrival.
Entry for RHS members is free, but please note we may have to limit numbers in the garden so we cannot guarantee entry without pre-booking. To guarantee entry, please buy a ticket online and we will offset 80% of your ticket price against any plants purchased.
Easy to find, Bluebell Cottage Gardens and Nursery is located in Cheshire, just a few minutes drive from junctions 10 or 11 of the M56.

Take the A49 south towards Whitchurch. After about 3 miles, take the A533 right at a traffic light controlled cross-roads (garage on the corner). Lodge Lane is a left turn after about 1 mile.
Take the A56 south towards Frodsham. Take the first left along Windmill Lane, or the second left along the A533 towards Northwich. Windmill Lane joins the A533 after about 1.5 miles. Lodge Lane is a right turn off the A533 and the nursery is signposted 200 yds beforehand.
There is plenty of free car parking available for visitors. Disabled visitors are welcome to park at the top of the track, next to the tea room. Coach parking is available by prior arrangement only.
The gardens and nursery are not served directly by public transport services. The nearest train station is Runcorn East or Runcorn, from where you can cycle or take a pre-booked taxi, or Runcorn where there is a permanent taxi rank.
