Primula elatior

Primula elatior (Oxslip)

Pale yellow, primrose colour flowers in clusters on gently arching stems. Looks like a cross between a primrose and a cowslip - which it probably is. Really lovely woodlander. To 30cm. Hardy

Sue's Notes about Primula elatior (Oxslip)

One of my favourite spring flowers here in the garden. We grow it from our own collected seed. Takes time to establish, but worth the wait.
