Penstemon 'Pensham Czar'

Bright purple flowers with white throat. Very long flowering - up to five months, especially if regularly dead-headed. To 50cm. Frost hardy.

Sue's Notes about Penstemon 'Pensham Czar'

Many suppliers list Penstemons as hardy. Though they will withstand temperatures down to about -8C, they have not come through the recent very cold winters here in Cheshire out in the garden, so I now class them all as frost-hardy.
