Clear white flowers with a dark centre above hairy foliage. Prefers a well-drained sunny site Hardy. Up to 60cm.

Perennial oriental poppies start into growth early and the leaves die down after flowering. If they look unsightly when they've finished flowering, just cut all the leaves back to ground level from where they will reshoot.
