Tall stems of fully double, rich magenta flowers over rosettes of silver, felty foliage. Very long flowering. Unlike its single cousin, this one doesn't produce seed.
If you don't like the way the common Lychnis coronaria self-seeds everywhere, this lovely double form is ideal. Tends to be short lived, especially in damp, cold areas. Remove and pot up offsets to rejuvenate.
