Euphorbia characias 'Portuguese Velvet'
Evergreen perennial, more compact than most characias types. Sturdy stems each with many green bracts with a red eye in spring. Loves hot dry borders and gravel gardens. Hardy to about -10C, but not for long periods. To 60cm.
