Large pink daisy flowers in late summer. As the name suggests, shorter growing than some of its strapping sisters. Tends to produce several flowers to a stem to make up for its lack of height. To 50cm. Hardy in light soils.
All Echinaceas originate from the dry American prairies. They dislike excessive winter wet especially. I strongly recommend spring planting when the soil has warmed up to let them get well established before their first winter.
