Sue's Notes

This a pretty plant in its own right, but it's main purpose is to help weaken grasses and allow space for wild flower plants to develop. Note that this is for grassy, perennial wildflower areas. Our seed is freshly collected from our own meadows. It needs to overwinter in or on the soil. When the grass has been cut, in late summer or autumn, roughen up the surface and sprinkle the seeds on the surface.
