Description
Large, open blue/purple flowers, which close in the afternoon. It's a biennial which self-seeds around very happily in gravel and dry corners. Lovely and much asked for. Hardy. To 80cm.

Sue's Notes
Either sow the seed in situ, where you want it grow by pushing it into the ground a little way, or sow thinly in pots with room to let a tap root develop. Plant out before the tap root runs out of room. Will flower in the second year.
