Sue's Notes
Silene fimbriata seed needs a cold spell to germinate and even then can be a bit erratic. You can just sprinkle where you want them to grow in autumn and let them take their chances. Otherwise, mix with a little damp vermiculite and place in a polythene bag in the fridge for a few weeks. Spread the mixture on a seed tray in late winter/early spring, keep moist but not wet and that should do the trick.
