Sue's Notes
This plant looks spectacular in our borders in summer. Completely dormant below ground in winter, it soon fills big spaces in summer. Might die off after flowering, but it self-seeds readily. If buying seeds, sow in autumn or spring. Cover lightly - the seeds need light to germinate. If they don't germinate, they may need chilling for 4-6 weeks.
