Friday Freedom Pass for under 30's

Event Date: 15, Aug 2025

We're delighted to offer an ‘almost the end of the week’ treat for visitors under 30. Drop in on any Friday from 6th June to the end of the September, show some ID with your date of birth and we'll give you a pass for free entry to the garden valid every Friday until the end of the season :-).

Perfect for anyone working from home and in need of a regular lunchtime break, or taking a flexi-day and looking for somewhere to chill for an afternoon. Perhaps you're looking after family members and want somewhere quiet to go, or just after somewhere green and inspiring to visit.  Our gardens are a peaceful haven, the perfect place to relax or be inspired.

Our cosy tea room has comfy sofas and a gardening library to browse, plus books for sale in support of Macmillan, so do drop in, explore the gardens, and perhaps treat yourself to one of our fabulous cakes.

Don't want to drive, love walking and nature? Catch the train to Acton Bridge and then walk along the River Weaver to find us. It'll take you about 45 minutes to walk and it's a delightful, easy stroll along a gorgeous stretch of the river. You'll also walk past Dutton Locks with its fascinating history and new renewable energy hydro turbine at the weir.
