Sue's Notes about Papaver orientale 'Queen Alexandra' (Oriental poppy 'Queen Alexandra')

The foliage of oriental poppies grows early in the season, then the whole plant dies back after flowering. Don't worry, it isn't dead! Just clear the foliage away - it will start to regrow in winter.
