Paeonia lactiflora 'Bowl of Beauty' (Peony 'Bowl of Beauty')

Huge sugar-pink petal bowls filled with ripples of yellow ribbony bits. Swoon-worthy. Give it a bit of elbow room as the plant will occupy a metre across when well established. To 70cm. Hardy.

Sue's Notes about Paeonia lactiflora 'Bowl of Beauty' (Peony 'Bowl of Beauty')

Paeonies have a reputation for being slow to flower. Every one of these plants I've put in the garden has flowered in its first year. Bumble bees seem to find the centre of the bowls irresistible too.
