Sue's Notes about Nectaroscordum siculum (Sicilian honey garlic)

This plant's leaves and roots have the weirdest smell - not honey-like, or garlicky. A bit oniony, but to me more like paint. Fortunately it is only apparent if you scratch and sniff.
