Sue's Notes about Meconopsis betonicifolia 'China Blue' Syn. Meconopsis 'Lingholm (Himalayan Blue Poppy)

Himalayan poppies are renowned for being tricky to grow. They like dapped shade and a deep, cool, moist root run. Put lashings of well rotted leaf mould into the planting hole and don't let them dry out in summer. Keep the seed as this cultivar is fertile.
