Events at Bluebell Cottage Gardens

Throughout the year Bluebell Cottage Gardens hosts a range of practical workshops and charity fundraising events. We also appear at flower shows around the region. Our workshops for 2012 include propagation, flower photography and painting in the garden. See below for dates and details.

June 2013

19th June: Painting in a cottage garden
Enjoy a full day painting in the garden with expert support and tutorials by Chris Beesley. Wet weather cover available. Suitable for painters of all skill levels in any medium.

25th June: Flower Photography for Beginners (RHS event)
Professional photographer Jane Burkinshaw helps you get your camera off automatic and take better flower and garden photos. Suitable for anyone with an SLR or programmable camera.

August 2013

26th Aug: Bluebell Cottage Gardens open for NGS
Bluebell Cottage Gardens opens in support of the National Garden Scheme charity. Refreshments served and nursery open for plant sales.

Date: 26th August 2013 Time: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Cost: £4 per person. Children free, but must be accompanied by an adult. All garden entry proceeds to NGS

Sue Beesley leads a hands on, half-day workshop on seasonal propagation. Includes opportunity to take cuttings from nursery stock plants.

Date: 4th September 2013 Time: 10:00 am to 12:30 am Cost: £23.00 per person (RHS members £18.50). This includes all materials, a tour of the garden and refreshments. Booking: Advance Booking is required for this event.
